Man, I really was hoping that Pirate's Software's sperg out would promote the campaign more then it hurt it, but apparently, at least from Ross's perspective, it created a chilling effect for other people to talk about or promote it.

Since then, I think I understand why Thor did it, He's a perpetual teenager who needs to be pedantically correct about everything and needs to refute everything bad said about him. So, when people in his chat called him out for misinterpreting and making silly arguments, he went into 'defense mode' and never got out of it.
The drama he's been rolled into this afterwards has repeated this pattern over and over again:
- Thor does or says something disagreeable
- People get upset, attack him
- He spergs out about it for weeks
The problem is that he's a 1% streamer and people are going to talk shit about him no matter what he says and I don't think he's capable of dealing with that.
