There's a website that sells the filco majestouch 2sc for us eufags too:
https://www.keyboardco.com/product.asp?PRODUCT=2703
This is the tenkeyless version but they also have it in full size.
>What happened to Das and Ducky? Only thing I ever heard about Daskeyboard is that they're no longer popular because they're rather expensive for a tray-mount soldered board with cheap abs caps etc. But that's what they always were.
What you said (Filco's switched to PBT which is good) plus lower QC (e.g. chattering and dead switches) from what I've seen and Ducky has jumped on the tranny consumerist meme tech bandwagon. Wireless, hotswap, gay keycaps, etc.
The industry QC issue is what pisses me off because not only is it almost impossible to find good autistic teardown reviews on keyboards in the sea of thocc obsessed reductionist consumerist tards (see webm), but QC is so random that even if you find a good model that's solidly built and order it, you may get chinked nonetheless. Like failing a dice roll.
Another decent option I found was keychron but their QC and internal design is so bad that at some point the plate was acting as a crowbar, prying the switches off the board. You know, typical shenanigans that occur once any industry has gained a stranglehold on unthinking reductionist-consumerist NPCs who think any product is a black box that just werks.
