>He is now a respected A-list actor with multiple acclaimed films under his belt and a prestige reputation as a festival darling

Yeah, and then he decided to play Batman. If capeshit is beneath him why the fuck is he making capeshit

The comic isn't better because the movie changed a lot. Most of the scenes they filed were incredibly faithful. The problem is the comic wasn't written for a 3 hour adaptation in mind so they just had to leave a lot of shit out for the sake of time. It's a cliff's notes version of the book. Which is all it ever could be unless it was going to be a miniseries and it was edited down about as well as it could be, but still.

I wind it weird that people like the movie but don't give a fuck about the book when the book is the actual complete, unedited version. You'd think if the truncated version of the story appealed to you you would be somewhat interested in the complete version. Everything good about the movie is straight from the book, the book just has more of it.

Right, like how people don't into religion anymore, or how all those nutty cults didn't pop up in the Seventies, or how American retards don't believe in Russiagate or all this other shit for which there is absolutely zero proof, or even a vast mountain of disproof.

Here's why casting Osterman as the villain is dumb and gay, like you: why would the Soviets care? What about America's own pet attacking it just once is of any interest to them? Why would they not leverage that event to improve their position? It's like thinking Chernobyl would've driven both parties to abandon nukes.

If the random battles are the gameplay, how is it that I can turn them off and still play the game?

Exploration isn't gameplay? Non-combat based sidequests aren't gameplay? Boss fights (which aren't affected by turning off random battles) aren't gameplay?

That stage is a boss rush. Having to fight four bosses and then Shaft is enough for one level. The "walk" before the boss room is just to allow the player to get subweapons

Jokic plays more minutes than anyone on his team, never misses games, just averaged 36/13/10, has 3 MVPs and a title and would have got a 2nd ring this year except the entire rest of the team crumbled into a pile of rubble. He doesn't need to improve anything
