I just beat both chapters. I think Chapter 4 felt sloppy in places, e.g. there were promised features for the full game that Toby just gave up on including, maybe due to time constraints (in particular I find it weird that item synthesis just got thrown straight out the window). Besides that, whilst I enjoyed the plot overall, sometime's I felt strained by Toby's character writing in a way I haven't prior to this. Particularly with the Noelle and Susie stuff (and I'm not a furfag or shipper type, if I have to pick a character to date in Chapter 5, I'll be going with Berdly since he's the gag option).

On the plus side, the Knight fight was nice and intense and gave me a way bigger challenge than anything else in the game, as was intended. Took me enough attempts that I didn't bother to count them.

To be entirely fair, in a way that fight has such a bizarre design that basically trolls the player.

So this entire fight really has such a bizarre stupid design in a sense that it tells you to hurry up, except hurrying up actually makes it worse and the actions meant to help you make it actively harder or just burn your TP.
If you take all 3 actions, thinking they'll help you speed up thus survive like promised, you lose 54% TP in total instead of 6% like it would appear on the surface.

Essentially it trolls you into actively making the fight harder for yourself by feeding you misinformation and I do not think that is intentional.

I think Asgore will be redeemed of whatever happened in the past that caused the divorce, and proven to have never done anything morally wrong in this universe.
However he's gonna first crash out and create a dark world that puts others in danger, creating a new fuck up he is culpable for.

He'll probably be the first example of unhealthy escapism via the dark worlds. When thus far hanging out with Ralsei and Lancer for a couple hours, or playing a gameshow with Tenna for a night have been largely good fun as long as you don't create an overall imbalance.
Worst case Asgore ends up having to move into the Castle Town because he can't deal with the aftermath, and he becomes Lancer's Greater Dad.
Best case the game ends with him on more amicable terms with Toriel than his Undertale counterpart, but probably still won't get back together because the vibes of the relationship are too far off at this point.

There will be no cliffhanger. The story will just "end"/loop back on itself. Something catastrophic will happen that doesn't allow the plot to progress any further, and Soosie will loop the story back to the beginning so she can keep it going forever, without an ending.
