I'm sorta like OP
I have for my entire life needed 10-14 hours sleep to feel well rested, and even then i still need a couple hours of lazing in bed after waking up to really "wake up". i rely on coffee to keep myself energized during the day. i dont drink that much though maybe 3 cups a day.
I have a career and there are times where i have to travel and work 14 hour days and i only get to sleep 4 hours at my hotel, and i can do that in short bursts, one week at a time. but when its the weekend or i take PTO i literally just sleep all day and have maybe like 6 hours during the day when i feel energized
i started taking aged garlic, regular garlic, and beet root and d3 in the hopes something would improve, and drinking coconut water, but im still sleepy all day. the heart palpitations i used to get went away which is cool tho
i dont know if i believe this is all caused by sleep apnea since im skinny and its been this way since i was a kid
