Every book club i've joined had at least 3 of those ""people"" who would judge the crap out of you if you enjoyed ANYTHING other than highbrow literature. Lord forbid if you really like fantasy superhero stories like I do, those dumb nerds will get so passive aggressive its crazy.

>and when they stop it blasts you with complete pleasure from the absence of pain due to how our nervous system works
Actually it's because your mind becomes so warped that "Pleasure and Pain become one in the same".
So every time Pinhead is on screen just know that he's mere seconds from cumming at any moment.

>Spain conquered an entire unknown civilization with just sailors and priests.
It's less those sailors and priests being Übermensch, and more that they rallied the native tribes who hated the ruling empire and gave them military support, but still.

>Eh, the problem with tremere girls is they're always going to be that nerdy wicca type
Tremere blood magic is heavily based off Hermeticism. If anything, they'd laugh at Witch-tok shit as a bunch of kine nonsense while they perform esoteric "Real" Magic
Which is actually just sorcerer "Hedge" magic but mention that to their face and they'll explode your cock off

Master and Commander is the first book in the series, and he's just been promoted to master and commander and he's sailing against the french.
At the far side of the world is like the 4th book.

New Mexico is not the midwest lmao. It's in the mountains at about 6900ft above sea level, 100ish miles from Mexico.

The idea that players are solely motived by results/winning is simply false and easily disproven, go look at most objective PvP team games and watch how many people would rather DPS/snipe/kill shit than just play support or do the objective, even if its more "efficient"

The true answer is that people gravitate towards what's fun and satisfying, and for a lot of people winning/being efficent IS fun and satisfying, but it's not the whole picture. There are times when winning is boring, and where playing suboptimially is fun. Fighting games are extremely competititve yet there are still games where the playerbase have unoffically decided to ban characters for being too broken, simply because they're bad for the health of the game and make it unfun. Speedrunners will create new catagories when a strat is too powerful and ruins the fun. Players will self-regulate themselves up to a certain point if "efficiency" is boring enough, the threshold is just much higher

was rudy right about the aridity of the Yucatan? It's savanna forest, which is means 30+ inches of rain a year, which is Seattle*-tier. Doesn't sound arid to me. Sounds like Thailand.

*Olympic rain shadow notwithstanding. Whoever was about to point this out, picrel.
