I legitimately have no idea, I never even finished the original series. All I remember is that it peaked within the first three episodes, Battlin' Jack Murdock was the most interesting character/episode. Everybody's character arc ended. Then it became a backdoor pilot for a bunch of characters nobody gave a flying fuck about.
Not sure why this wasn't just a trilogy of movies, Bamham style baby.

I didn't have any hype, but I did expect it to be better than the half-baked afterbirth that was Breath of the Wild.
As somebody who genuinely enjoys what I do for a living, I can't imagine how lifeless it must feel working for Nintendo's inhouse development teams. There's just nothing going on upstairs, literally and figuratively.

I legitimately have no fucking idea what sort of back alley crack the niggers who have been writing this dumbfuck franchise since OoT have been smoking, because every game makes less and less sense, and the themes of the Hero's Journey, Courage, Adventure, etc... get more and more muddled as all of this destiny, fate, power level shite gets introduced.
Link's (the player's) involvement as a hero feels less and less relevant the more emphasis is placed on the cycle being predetermined and there being no threat or even major consequences. God is always on the sidelines, ready and willing to intervene. So what the fuck am I actually doing?

Legitimately does not matter. They all play the same, the License Board/Job System is not deep or clever enough to change the gameplay or result in varying degrees of player engagement.

Funny how the best compliment you can give modern era Final Fantasy releases is the addition of the potential to skip the gameplay almost entirely.
