I legitimately have no idea, I never even finished the original series. All I remember is that it peaked within the first three episodes, Battlin' Jack Murdock was the most interesting character/episode. Everybody's character arc ended. Then it became a backdoor pilot for a bunch of characters nobody gave a flying fuck about.

I didn't have any hype, but I did expect it to be better than the half-baked afterbirth that was Breath of the Wild.
As somebody who genuinely enjoys what I do for a living, I can't imagine how lifeless it must feel working for Nintendo's inhouse development teams. There's just nothing going on upstairs, literally and figuratively.

Link's (the player's) involvement as a hero feels less and less relevant the more emphasis is placed on the cycle being predetermined and there being no threat or even major consequences. God is always on the sidelines, ready and willing to intervene. So what the fuck am I actually doing?
