The remakes are pretty good yeah. First game is much easier but that's because they fixed a lot of bullshit from the original like cheap insta deaths, getting stuck in long stun animations, no checkpoints. The game is also made easier with the new movement system and new utility of old weapons/powers, but it's absolutely worth it to hover skate around the city at mach speed while holding a grenade with telekinesis. They also added in cut missions so that's pretty cool. Destroy all humans 2 was already an easy game on original hardware so all the quality of life improvements and new abilities just add to the sandbox, the only reason you should go back to the original is for nostalgia and artstyle
