It's not just a graphics thing, artists are learning and using new techniques that didn't exist before.

Almost every single game that focuses on stealth is terrible. Somehow we departed from the labyrinthine level design of thief and every stealth game since has been a hyper casual "press crouch to stop thinking" simulator. Normalfags love to press crouch and be invisible. It's ambrosia to them. This is why so many AAA games add stealth sections. It's like having completely arbitrary baseline RPG leveling. It just has to be in there.

I have no idea what the point of owning a ps5 is. At least with the ps3 you got like thousands of ps1 and ps2 games so it was a good solution for poor people, and had some good exclusives like demons souls. I was so disappointed with the ps4 and switch that I've checked out of consoles completely. Looks like next gen will be utilizing a 5080 at best so I think my 4070ti super will be able to run everything for the next decade pretty well and that only cost me $600.
