Thanks. I actually matched with another girl shortly after, but I need to wait on her to send the first message. Her weight makes her the bottom of the barrel, though, and she was primarily chosen because she lives virtually next door to me.
This sounds really cynical, but I apportioned a select number of likes on my three apps to girls who would be a bit more desperate (chubby, single mom, etc.). With this strategy, I'm hoping to keep some people in my back pocket while waiting for the more desirable ones, although I'm willing to give the worse matches a legit chance since I'm not THAT shallow. Of course, it's possible that none of these people will actually follow through on the matches, but I think I've made a good start.
