I got good grades in early school, and my first years of HS, by by college it started to decline. I think I genuinely have a form of ADHD. The thing where info-dumps literally makes me start to feel sleepy and I would often "wake up" 20 minutes into each class and realize I hadn't heard anything the lecturer had explained. Then I assumed that's normal, but every time the rest of the group raised their hands and gave informed answers like they paid complete attention. In fact, this has affected me since I read books and watched movies. Everything I do has mental "gaps" where I forgot to listen, and I end up with a half-understanding.

This is literally why I've become a right-wing individual, because you must have big gaps in logic to fall for their tricks, and the longwinded, wordy explanations in every topic given by leftists is off-putting to people like me who already struggle to connect dots and pay attention.
