>get out of commoragh
>start act 4
>immediately bombarbed with event after event after companion quest after companion quest
>get roped into doing some ace attorney investigation for abelard to free his family
don't I have people to do this shit for me? do I not have a single competent detective? do I seriously have to do everything myself?

LMAO. Your dumbass is over here bragging about TV ratings like it's 2006. Reminder: TV viewership =/= box office sales. Fuji TV reruns pulling decent ratings means jackshit when Aniplex has to shove 2.5-hour bloated arcs into cinemas to squeeze revenue out of a dead manga.
Also, thanks for confirming that Aniplex is milking y'all like cows at a dairy farm. That's not success, that's exploitation. And judging by how Swordsmith Village flopped globally, they're gonna need all the help they can get, lmao.
>m-most watched anime on TV!!
Yeah, because the competition is weak as hell. You're bragging that Demon Slayer is outdrawing Sazae-san reruns and Detective Conan, which literally air during dinner in every Japanese household. Congrats, king of the nursing home time slot, lol. And if Demon Slayer was really the box office god you believe it is, it wouldn't need an entire year of marketing, special screenings, fake finales, recap gimmicks, and a September international rollout to prop up Part 1 of a trilogy. People watched it on TV because it was free. People streamed it because they already have subscriptions. Paying ¥1800+ for a 155-minute mid-arc theatrical episode? That's a harder sell, especially in an economy where the PM says the country's worse off than Greece.
DVR stats don't sell popcorn. And streaming views don't buy IMAX screens. Theaters only care about one thing: asses in seats, showings per day, and per-screen revenue. Infinity Castle has a long runtime, stiff competition, no finale hype, and a tired brand. Cope all you want with your Nielsen spreadsheets, this thing ain’t touching Mugen Train's numbers, and deep down, you know I'm right.

I'm a relatively well adjusted human being but when I was 16 my parents arranged for me to get one-on-one language lessons with this visiting french lady at school who was around 23. I fell madly in love with her and those lessons were the most wonderful moments of my academic year. It didn't help that besides being quite pretty, she was incredibly intelligent and would turn many of the classes into borderline therapy sessions, she would even recommend me songs which inevitably were always incredibly sentimental, beautiful pieces of art that stuck with me to this day. Man I miss her sometimes

so I'm new to the game and picked Mechanic because it looked cool and my friend says they're not garbage at late game raids.
However, I look at archives and everyone's doomposting "oh no no resistancebros/mechbros" saying the class is garbage and hated by the devs.
Did I make a bad choice? If so, I'll make a Demon Slayer which was my friend's second suggestion.

Looks like the first good silent hill since 4.
Even with a chinese dev team or whatever it looks very promising. Japansese people are still in charge of everything, so it looks to actually have some SH dna at the very least.
Seeing as there wouldn't be that many guns floating around japan at the time this game takes place the focus on more action due to melee weapons seems fair. Just like sh1-3, action has a place, and can be both scary and somewhat cathartic.
I don't have super high expectation, but I'm hopeful this game will be good.

I can craft any card in Shadowverse using vials. I have to get UR dust to make UR cards. Being forced to roll for shit I don't want to dust it to craft what I actually want isn't generous when all the new cards are all fucking UR. I logged into Master Duel a few months back and couldn't roll anything for snake eyes because it wasn't in rotation and no secret pack.

I keep at it. Sometimes it goes well, sometimes it goes bad. Sometimes I move forward a bit, sometimes I misstep and fall backwards. I've learned to live with it. But I've given up expecting things to turn out "normal". I'm making my peace with ending up as what I am. Maybe I won't. Maybe I will. But the more time goes on the more I leave it all to Fate. God, and the such. I've come to believe that I only remain alive and in relatively not awful condition because of God. My choices, my habits, they have always been wrong. But I'm still here. So who knows? Maybe God's got something planned. Fate and circumstance have a way of bringing us where we are supposed to be, I suppose. Even if Fate has a habit of not letting us choose our own endings, I'm learning to trust it, so to speak. I have the nudging feeling that this force needs me to suffer a bit, to make up for my flaws, in order to get this bit of help but hey, you know, it could be worse. It is what it is. We all have our crosses to bear.
