There used to be this diner I'd visit for breakfast on my way to work, after covid they reduced their portions and increased their prices considerably; a hearty serving of biscuits and gravy for $6 became singular biscuit with a spoonful of gravy for $9.99 to try and recoup costs during covid (they got one of those free business loans btw)
They closed down after people on the highway stopped coming in due to the outrageous jewery.

After having a huge chunk of my dota matches ruined by them turning me into a racist and forcing me to switch to west European servers - South Americans are fucking stupid. Like seriously stupid, and they have a tendency to pull each other down the moment something goes wrong or their egos get damaged.
In EUW even the most backwater swamp creature still tries to win even if they get pissed or call each other names.
On USW/E(south americans refuse to use their servers) they actively throw the match the moment they get upset. I can't imagine how fucking terrible it is to be trapped there and work with these people if the moment they hit adversity they regress into tantrum throwing chimps.

Women can be evil. Women can hurt other women, and they DO. Very often. It really clashes with this artificial worldview that we are raised with in the West. We're taught that women are inherently good and virtuous, or at least that women stick together and help each other and would never dream of hurting other women.
It's a lie. Being a control-freak is something women can do. Getting off on other people's pain is something women can do. Harsh discipline, punishments, and "putting someone in their place" is something women can do. Wanting power over others is something women can do. Loving money more than loving your fellow human being is something women can do.
SO many brothels have a woman running the show. Even as younger, vulnerable woman are forced to sell their bodies, the cold-hearted old hag tells them to get over it, tough it out, accept reality, and spread those legs. Many human traffickers are women. People need to realize this. You cannot protect yourself or the ones you love if you automatically write off 50% of the population as harmless saints.
And if you really believe in equality of the sexes, you'd be glad to see a female criminal facing justice.

Man I miss DUST 514 so much. Although by the end of the beta's lifespan you could tell CCP had not idea what the fuck they were doing with it, not that it had any real chance coming so late into the PS3's lifecycle.
I also miss MAG, although I didn't get to play it that much. The running battles were a lot of fun.

I don't get the recent negativity. Canto 8 was one of the better cantos, with the best side cast and good pacing. Who gives a fuck if you can spend currency to continue. All other gacha have that system and you can choose not to use it. People bitch about them nerfing fights then bitch when a system gets introduced which may prevent nerfing.
No, the real concern is how the company seems to be run. When Kim Ji-Hoon started venting on stream I felt genuinely embarrassed to be a PM fan. I don't mind a Director that's a bit more open with their fans but holy shit a stream is not a place to vent about how tough the job is.
The fact he admitted Hong Lu's identity for this season is still in development really shows how much they're rushing things. In my mind that's something to have 90% done before the season even starts. I feel bad for the devs because they're likely all overworked to shit.
I don't mind an Arknights collab, being a fan of both games, but it coming at the cost of potentially ruining the set-up/pacing of Ryoshu's canto is not a worthwhile trade. Especially when the next intervallo is STILL in H Corp. Yeah I love its cast but I wanna move onto the next story.
