Its not just Pokemon but why does everything need to look so saccharine and clean now? It was something people made fun of Disney for in the 90's but now everyones doing it. Nothing can look rough, rustic, industrial, intimidating, bleak or imperfect. It all has to look like it would give you a big hug and feel like plastic when you touch it.

Proud Xbox owner here. The controller is comfortable but to be honest it's really not that great. Literally every single button is loud as fuck which makes it impossible not to wake anybody up while I'm playing in the living room, and the bulging face buttons dig into my thumb far too painfully to my liking. The sticks are also far too loose right out the box (I just bought one brand new last month) and also I can't stand potentiometers.

Other than that the triggers are EXTREMELY comfortable (unlike DualSense, whose edges dig into my fingers) and probably the best ones I've used, I also love the impulse effect. It's a good "standard" controller but certainly not ideal.
