latinoamerica is baroque.
Latinoamerica can only be defined as a baroque continent like said alejo carpentier, where human civilization is eaten by a lush carnucopia of nature, and it being the land of the cosmic race, means only baroque is able to properly express the latinoamerican soul.

guy they interviewed on BBC said that boeing planes have an issue with the fuel switches being hit accidentally and locking, and that the FAA sent out an advisory asking (it was voluntary, not mandatory) airlines to check their switches
saars probably didn't get the memo, plus they took way too long to restart both engines after failure (10 seconds for the first, 14 for the second)

Learning math and CS fundamentals is great, and make you stop being a tutorial boy into a gamedev programmer artist.

you can do shit like proc gen, utility goal oriented AI, shader magic, interactive procedural music that reads a MIDI file.

But only if you actually spend time learning autismo wizard shit.

modern civilization is the result of whites inventing securalism, atheism, after 2 centuries of brutal genocidal wars between 15-16 century in europe.

White people love to talk about peace and avoiding wars, after 80 million whites killed in 1914-1945.

Imagine something like SIMS, where the npcs has daily routes between nodes, but you can micro manage their actions like a traffic controller god and tell them to go to a diferent location to do something.

So you can take two npcs to meet at central park at 9 PM and then engage in a fight that makes both injured and unable to work.

So the grocery store and bank doesn't work the next day, so the wagie npc can't buy food and is sad because he's hungry.

Oh, yes. It is. That's why corporations fund lobbying groups and then the lobbying groups will donate to a politicians campaign funds or wine and dine them. As long as you don't give the person specifically money in exchange for a vote one way, then you're good! Just hold future campaign funds on the silent acknowledgement that if they don't vote your way, they don't get more funds.

An alternative to conflict
I think I've finally found an alternative to conflict in storytelling.

Conflict is not a mandatory thing.
You can get a similar effect to conflict, with novelty.

What do I mean, instead of conflict, you can use a piece of lore or informational retrieval that takes the character to move towards a newer point in the seek of a new informational novelty event.

It is the discovery of a newer point to move and the movement towards that point, that produces a similar avoidance of boredom and produced a flow in the story.

It is not the lack of conflict that bores a story, but simply it's stagnation without novelty that causes boredom.

/v/ - Why can't people accept video games as art?
Anonymous No.712599204
>>712584357
The 'art community' has two segments - those who think games are an art medium and those who don't. Those who do say its no different than film and the content made for a medium doesn't negate it from being an art form. Those who say it isn't one say that because of the inherent nature of play being the driving force of video games that they cannot be art and will remain as play. Likewise there are two segments of gamers that have similar opinions - one group saying games are art and the other not. The 'games as art' crowd will say similar things to the artist who believe they are art. The gamers who say that games aren't art though do so for reason like "they're just games, they're for fun, they aren't that deep, etc." What I've noticed is that gamers who don't want games to be seen as art don't want their games to be anything more than just win or lose or objective based titles. I'm generalizing but gamers who don't want games to be art don't want games to be anything more than play and not engage with storytelling or interactive experiences in any way that is not conducive to 'gameplay.' Game journos want games to be art because they want to be taken seriously and that will never happen which is the biggest takeaway of all.
