when you have chunky muncy, edman, and teo making the all star game, i think it becomes clear fan voting needs to go. Especially when some of the top performing players in those positions didn't even sniff the top 5 in fan votes. Of all the guys in the finalists for the dodgers, only smith, freddie, and maybe pages actually earned it. But even then, I don't think Pages or Teo deserve it over the likes of Tucker or James Wood.

i really do think fan voting should be taken away after this year, because some of the top performing players in their position are like 10th on the ballot meanwhile Teo, Edman, and Chunky Muncy are somehow 2nd in theirs. Even Dodgers fans can't acknowledge who is better on their team, because it really should be Pages over Teo if they really HAVE to have an OF on there(even if they really shouldn't given some of the options in the National League)
