Managed to snag a flame red 3DS from some shady looking dude for like 80 bucks last year. His home looked like a den of some sort but I made it out alive. Weirdly enough, it's in Japanese but it came with some copies of Monster Hunter.

Next, my brother gave me his black 3DS XL. It errors out as soon as it goes online, though.

Then I found a blue OG 3DS in a paper bag in my closet last year. NO CLUE who it belonged to, but apparently it has been there for years. A little layer of dust had been on it but it worked after a battery swap.

LASTLY my other brother bought his kid a 2DS last year and some games from a garage sale but my nephew touched it once and forgot about it so my bro just gave it to me.

But I only use my personal OG 3DS, anyways. Life just throws 3DS' my way. Currently playing Moemon Star Emerald and Pisces. Though I should get back to Dillons Rolling Western.

I don't have very good twitch reaction, but I feel like things would be a lot easier in a game where you where not limited by factors such as game mechanics and could incorporate tactics such as carying more than a 4 items or dragging enemies ontop of one another, or dragging crimson heads into a pit.

The real problem and death defying difficulties will come when the hunter killers start showing up. Those guys are mean as hell and aren't stupid unlike everything else. For example, take the spider incident. I would just spray it with a shotgun and run away. it will absolutely lose all of it's fluid and wind up paralyzed due to the way spiders move. this is why spiders are skittish. they don't want to get hurt because even a small injury can kill or paralyze them
