I've been playing Arena Breakout and holy shit is it pointless to play solo. I *always* feel outmatched. It's nothing but campers in the early minutes of the game. You spawn at one compound and immediately get killed enroute to another by a sniper laying prone under an evergreen. Farm is the only reasonable map in the game because it's not just a dense forest for most of it.

I didn't want to deal with the additional damage taken anymore so I swapped from Vile armor to upgraded Padded and I don't explode anymore but holy fuck I miss that 40% stamina regen boost when jumping around mistlands and god early mistland sucks with no feather cape and no eitr gear and some bad dungeon luck giving me jack-all for black cores.

I'm absolutely stuck with a demo song I have in mind.
I'm usually happy with the results I get, but it's the first black metal song I write and it turns out like absolute dogshit no matter what I try.
Both rythm and lead guitars sound so surprisingly bad I'm at my wit's ends. It can't be only because I'm tuned a whole step down, there's something fundamentally wrong, sound-wise, and I can't put my finger on.
Any idea to improve this? (other than delete the whole project because I suck at playing)

I'm using a Focusrite audio interface, FL Studio and Amplitube for the amp sim. All recorded pre-processing so I can tweak it. Feels like I used a baby monitor for recording.
