how do you decide to draw your scene at an unconventional angle? i use dutch angles when I want to add tension, but I'm doing comics. i doubt there is much demand for this sort of thing in fine art.

What art inspires you? For me, weird as it sounds, it's Hannah-Barbera concept art.

My only gripe with krita is the ui is ugly as shit.

Stan Prokopenko bought two of Marshall Vandruff's horse doodles (the two in the upper right of this image) for $600. They took Marshall a couple minutes to draw. Skilled illustrators can make a fuckton of money if they know how to negotiate.

Is there a particular reason you cant learn to draw using your left side of the brain?

I know the right side is the one everyone desires, but most people can't use it 100% everytime.

So why not learn to draw using the analitical side of the brain?

I think I can draw nicely taking into account I still use my symbol drawing skills.

Who are some great practitioners of the "busy isomorphism" style? A very underrated style imo.
