On one hand, I know a lot of fans hate his contract and think he doesn't produce as much as he's being paid for. On the other, i personally feel like the average production he has is perfectly fine and there is no way they are somehow going to get a better second baseman in any possible trade they could even make and no one in the farm system seems like they'd be able to replace him given how shit the other call ups have been so far. Maybe in a couple years when Leo is ready, you can move Xander to second and see what you get for Croney, but now is absolutely not worth it.

Good job not getting swept by the Rockies, Nats, but 11 straight losses really isn't a good look. You guys need some real bullpen depth if you want to be competitive again. Tell you what, we'll give you Wandy Peralta from the AMAZING Padres bullpen, and maybe even one or two of our amazing Chihuahua pitchers in exchange for James Wood!
