Need opinions from the board game comunity.
I had the idea of a grid based game like chess.
But both players have like 16 chess pawns that can move 1 tile in all directions.
The combat between pieces happens when they overlap by moving into the other.
But.
To win the fight between two pieces, you have a 9 round game of rock papers scissors, which the one with more victories take the oponent piece.
The victory is then to whoever has the last surviving tokens in the field.

Since you've already played Detroit: Become Human, I guess you're working your way chronologically backwards through David Cage's video games, so that means Heavy Rain is the next one after B:TS.

I forgot to add.
Is not necesary to kill the characters.
It's more related to making them stopping the fight in some way.
Like a professor that has to move away because he got a newer job.
Or a friend that has to leave because he has to go and study in another nation.
That's also a way to do a similar thing to kill the characters, but without having them actually killed.
Villains can instead go to jail, give up their evil ways, be injured so they cant keep fighting, etc.
Also, the story doesn't need to be about killing, it can be a competition to win a contest, or win the love of a girl.
In most cases the story has to be about two groups of characters who has to be in competition about something they can't give up so they have to fight or compete until the end.
Also, don't forget a lot of the best stories deal with the MC having ideas about giving up or thinking he's not good enough for the task, or asking why he was chosen to suffer.

Tambien hay que tener en cuenta que en esos siglos la produccion de bienes era mas un tema de guilds de mastercrafts de oficios, donde era mas un tema de la produccion de un maestro que supervisaba la produccion de un pueblo o una ciudad de ofebres, a una produccion mas industrial y enfocada en la eficiencia capitalista.
Tambien hubo desarrollos tecnologicos como el daguerrotipo y la fotografia que hicieron superfluo contratar a un pintor de retratos comparado con una foto.
Tambien hay que tener en cuenta cosas como dos guerritas pequeñitas en donde se murio ese mundo de Louis 14-16, y europa tuvo que empezar de 0 con una destruccion absoluta y 80 millones de muertos en 40 años.
La verdad es que ese mundo aristocratico luego paso de moda por el mismo empuje de movimientos artisticos que buscaban la novedad como el arte noveau, el arte deco y la influencia de la escuela de bahaus y maricadas como el brutalismo de cobussier.
Tambien es cierto que desde los 60 existe una sociedad de consumo donde lo importante no es la estetica fundamental y trascendental sino modas de consumo para producir ganancias para las multinacionales.
Pero honestamente dudo que esa tecnica haya muerto, solo que no se le hace promocion como la vista rosada que tenemos de la versalles de louis 15.
