If you add an AH it'll just become a boring and shitty World of Warcaft daily quest simulator. The level of resistance is important for keeping the economy healthy and making itemization fun. Metroidvania is such a bad and casual genre. You could just play hollow knight, ori, and la mulana then never play anything in the genre again and miss nothing. It is the absolute worst and most casual genre of platformers. Even collectathons have more meat to them.
