>If you download starcraft you're also not going to be able to go toe to toe with experienced players.
Yes you can. You can very easily begin to understand the multiplayer and how to mirco/macro at a higher skill level. Also the matchmaking is entirely skill based and there is shitters for beginners too. Starcraft will never ever throw a brand new player fresh off the campaign straight at a Korean in the top leagues. He will never see that level of skill without a hundred hours of grinding the ladder.
The issue with Mordhau is the tutorial doesn't even come close to how the game is actually played. Then throws you right into the fire since none of these sweaty faggots play ranked, so you get matchmade with all of them immediately. Nowhere do the basics cover the janky twisty bullshit that the experienced playerbase does to get in a hit that a new player would have zero clue how to even begin to react towards. What makes the feeling worse is that you legit do not understand how/why you died to someone turning like a bayblade and catching you with the very tip of an axe on the backswing. Its bullshit. Its an awful game that should have never listened to its meta faggots who helped ruin the game.
Occasionally Mordhau will get a sale going and then the new blood goes 0-52 on every match and none will stay, the game cannot retain anyone new and will actually die of old age.
