It's a very common experience, and yeah job hunting is stressful or even daunting, HOWEVER:
For an minimum wage type job that doesn't matter at all, they're used to having a rotation of hiring new employees to replace old employees leaving. As long as you seem like a decent well-groomed person who is interested in the job, then you have a good chance of being employed...doesn't matter about age or not having a job before.
You'll grow from going through that type of discomfort
