I don't understand TV defenders. ZZZ was marketed as a character action game with the main draws being the character and the action. TV mode directly got in the way of that. I fucking hated having to look for light switches or bombs and shit when all I wanted to do was go back to playing the characters I rolled and invested in. You can't even say TV mode is better for story presentation because it's the same fucking Bangboo icon with only speech bubbles telling you what's supposed to be going on. At least moving to a 3D environment gives you a better idea of where you're supposed to be.

varesa ticked all the boxes for me, but then I played her... I rolled xianyun thinking i'd like plunge and I can't say I use her for combat.. I lived through natlan exploration by using her + ifa as a cope for not having the characters, but combat? nahh plunge isnt for me. skirk has been fun, although I'm not a fan of how "strict" her team is, skirk herself feels good to play and that's what matters
