>Upon his return to Britain, Rae made two reports on his findings: one for the public, which omitted any mention of cannibalism, and another for the British Admiralty, which included it. However, the Admiralty mistakenly released the second report to the press, and the reference to cannibalism caused great outcry in Victorian society. Franklin's widow Lady Jane enlisted author Charles Dickens, who wrote a tirade against Rae in his magazine Household Words deriding the report as "the wild tales of a herd of savages", and later attacked Rae and the Inuit further in his 1856 play The Frozen Deep.[10] Arctic explorer Sir George Richardson joined them, stating that cannibalism could not be the action of Englishmen but surely the Inuit themselves. This campaign likely prevented Rae from receiving a knighthood for his efforts. 20th century archaeology efforts in King William Island later confirmed that Franklin Expedition members had resorted to cannibalism.
Look what they did to our boy
I'm glad they picked that actress for the show. She gives major cunty vibes and that's exactly how I understand this bloody hag

I really wish there was some kind of follow up after the whole Emily Clint shit. Feels frankly unfinished to just leave it as you taking the one option the dude had like it was his only shot, seems depressing as hell to me.
It doesn’t even have to be a cutscene, just add a line after the Emily 8 heart event where he says he met a girl online and is going on a date with her in the city, and then a follow up line where he says it went well and he is going back for another soon, and then just leave it at that. Seems more conclusive and less depressing to me

I don't like Bill Burr but I also don't like every other stand-up comedian because they all share the same annoying personality - being extremely smug and snarky, insulting(joking) people in their faces and then having crazy public meltdown once someone dares to insult(joke) them back. Especially when it's not a person on their show which they can immediately shut down by weaponizing their fan crowd, but someone on the internet making a comment. None of the stand-up comedians can take criticism. They all have some clinical insecurity and their whole careers is just them projecting those insecurities.
