Anyway to address the rest of your retarded post, enemies still get cut in half with FS and lose arms from GT, it's simply not guaranteed now for the same reason delimbing is not guaranteed with normal strings in all games, because all attacks come their own other properties that otherwise would never live to see the day. Izuna always takes out mages and sword/tac ninjas, whereas claw ninjas die from two and it was the same in vanilla with red gajas and fiend IS. Delimbing most enemies is just as frequent as in OG, and the reworked enemies are more likely to lose limbs when their HP is low so it's anything but random. 3RE literally has the most enemy types in the entire series, and the encounters always mix them up with each other. "Most enemies" in question being alchemists I guess, everyone else is susceptible to wind path nearly at all times and it takes very little effort to make GT work on healthy enemies. Wind Run is just a homing jump. Hope this helps.

Anyway to answer your question, you can dodge, then jump, land and use the forward X and Y strings while still holding block. The first hit of forward Y will OT the enemy if he's delimbed. You can also dodge, wind path off the enemy and do running attacks.

How do you even breathe? The idea man wanted a game about slow-mo dark souls dodges and combo finishers with no vision beyond these two concepts. It took him until the game was nearly done to realize that the idea is utterly moronic and dysfunctional, so PG had to quickly come up with a hackjob solution and that's how DO became a thing in Bayo, and it ended up being so overcentralizing you could beat the game avoiding all enemy engagement. All it did was create more problems and exacerbate the existing ones like impotent melee. The end result is a shit game with a shit foundation and a shit pigeonholing playstyle. 3RE's chapter challenge already solved this and they could always just give similar tools to Ryu or make him turn into a bird or a dragon.
In campaign mode he was already seen in some of the areans from Yakumo's levels, like the DDO Samurai boss fight and the winged dog's.

Ok so after rewatching the IGN vid it seems to be the latter. Yakumo's arm glows when the meter is full and when it's not the arm is just red. Curious whether they kept the traditional input for ninpo or there's a new one. I think cicada surge is on RT+A now, and RT X&Y are reserved for the new followups (https://youtu.be/E2NnqO92d7M?si=iw52XeK1vUtAld9a&t=63), so it would make sense to use RT+B. Still wonder how you activate berserk gauge.

SoB is just a small part of the bigger picture and it's not going to magically carry you against the biggest filters of the game like van gelfs, alchemists, imperfect goddesses, claw ninjas or the paracelsus fiends even if you can occasionally SoB some of them or even learn to bait them into doing these attacks.
Doing UT isn't worth unless other alchemists are also inactive, you get hyperarmor during the charge while taking 2x the damage so charging past lvl 1 UT is way too risky for the healthbar and in the same time it takes to get the charge you can do other things that are better. Lunar and Talons can just izuna drop the nigger for example, the first hit knocks him back and the second catches.
