My character in Zomboid got bitten but it was bullshit so I used the debug menu to undo the damage. A zombie crawled over a fence and I went to stab it with a spear. It was highlighted in green but my character just stabbed the ground and got locked in the animation. The zombie instantly swiped her feet and she fell FORWARD instead of backward and faceplanted. She couldn't get up in time and got bitten after getting up. That's stupid. That's not how it should work. I'm not coping.
