I prefer it because I grew up in the era when flat boring Hormel pepperoni was the default.... by comparison, the smol peps were rarer, spicier, heartier, thicker with a more interesting texture. And the grease? The more the merrier, I will never put a napkin on my slice to throw away nature's delicious bounty.
