Jesus fucking christ where did all the time go and why am I still here? I remember feeling like a smug oldfag at the time because I'd been on 4chan since '06. Now it's just sad that I'm in my mid-30's and still on this stupid fucking website.

I hate you all but you're the only people who understand me and depressingly enough are the only people I understand anymore.

This. Mobile market was always seen as sub-par gaymen compared to the real deal on PC, console or arcade. However, I think it's fucking wild that the casual shit we used to make fun of (Angry Birds, Cut The Rope, Fruit Ninja, PvZ, etc.) turned out to be a genuinely better market than the shit that's peddled to you nowadays on the front page. Almost everything is MTX-riddled auto-playing dogslop that's EVEN MORE casual and EVEN MORE fake and gay than even Flappy Bird

holy shit things have gotten so much worse in such a cosmically short period of time

Didn't think I'd get accused of samefagging in my first vp post in 10 years but okay. Guess I'm obligated to contribute more now so this isn't a stupid argumentative post.

Pokemon on the GB/GBC/GBA filled a niche that no other technology could. There were other RPGs but not as simple if I remember right. Slap on the anime playing for a couple hours every day and consider that kdis were not connected to the internet in the way they are today and it's going to hit a homerun easy. It was also portable multiplayer if you had a link cable.

I think you I die you pass over countless cycles of creation and destruction before regaining awareness in an iteration of the universe that allows a consciousness configured exactly like you to arise again. 10000000 googol years may pass until this happens but for "me" it will be just a blink. I believe this because the alternative is that all existence will eventually no longer exist permanently and this terrifies me.

Fun fact: Due to the infinite number of parallel universes it's actually impossible for your consciousness to experience doomsday because you don't consciously exist in any timeline thats been destroyed so you'll never have to worry about things like nukes or armageddon or whatever because in every timeline those things happen you cease to exist and therefore can't experience and since you're (presumably) experiencing this here and now you can only continue to experience a universe that exists and because of the infinite constantly branching different perpendicular universes never touching again except for the single point in time where they diverged you can never enter one of those timelines where you don't exist
Make sense?
Basically you're here (forever?) so make the most of it
