In addition, losing large amounts, in my research over 20lbs per month, of weight can give you gallstones. One solution to that is 72h fasts followed by 72h of eating foods that promote bile production (meat, chicken, bone broth). On those eating days you don't necessarily need to eat a lot of food either, you can still diet, just get your bile producing foods in. You could also simply do an Alternate Day fasting routine, this will not impact bile production enough to give you gallstones but you'll probably max out at 15lbs a month lost depending on your starting weight.
As far as the heart thing, there was a study with fatties where they looked at this Angus case in particular and tried seeing if this was a good way for people to lose weight. I remember like 3 or 4 of the people either had heart issues or died, something like that. But the study found these people had preexisting conditions or family history.
It's a very interesting subject, look into Bobby Sands hunger strike as well, I think he went 66 days with no supplements, the human body is really amazing.
