In fact, so many people have unsubbed that there are thousands of empty housing plots in Crystal, the most popular datacenter. We lost over 700,000 players on the past few years and it’s not slowing down. Countless influencers have denounced the game, Yoshida said he was broke and even the president of the company said not to come back until 8.0. Meanwhile, WoW is bussin’, MoP is lit and 11.2 is coming out soon. Just ignore this trash game until 8.0 magically fixes everything, which is never.

I'm actually going to push back and say we are in Stormblood. Aether's PF this weekend wasn't even hitting 200 parties in total, unlike it was before the summer. (This was when the survey was conducted.) At most, I think I saw 110 high end parties at the peak. This is what we consider as the "raiding capital" on NA and we are having issues even filling parties now. I've seen people sit hours in PF over this weekend in old and current content just trying to fill spots.

This game doesn't have the player count of Shadowbringers. We are seeing an exodus of players happening and people are treating it as we are on 7.55 now.

Let me re-iterate: over 600,000 players saw the game’s current state and decided to leave. That’s worse than those who had yet to play the game: these people consciously chose to quit playing after having already invested so much time and money. It takes effort to unsub and leave everything behind. That’s 600,000 people who actively hate the game. What causes that? The “woke” movement? Being a “tranny”? You can’t possibly believe that people are dissatisfied with how the game has changed? How many rupees are you getting paid to post?
