They started competing with Fortnite for the middle schooler demographic. That pretty much killed the game. Whoever decided on wacky, zany skins being introduced into a military shooter needs to be fired out of a cannon into the sun. Just makes it all the easier to never touch this trash series again. You're right, WWII is the CoD that actually fought against the clownification, not MW19, and it's a slippery slope from there with BO4 making skins that don't follow the operators' silhouette.

They never shared the C Points sales for any of the games but just by looking at what the players are wearing, it's very safe to assume that wacky bundles sell the most while grounded skins is often ignored or only used when it comes from the battlepass since grounded skins enjoyers aren't tempted to buy anything.
