Yeah you'll get its essence worth if your inventory is already full, that's how you make bank during chapters 4 to 6. Goes for all items, even the speargun on NG+. In the case of health and ki items you may get red/blue essence instead if your inventory is full but HP/Ki isn't.

The juggle and everything to do with it looks Bayonetta tier but weapon switching is a great addition.

Just NG 4 for me. Already pre-ordered the deluxe.

Anyway I rewatched the IGN footage and noticed that bloodbind meter slowly replenishes itself during the combat which is icky. Also the berserk mode is activated via L3 + R3.

I can't think of a single thing that Bayo does better.

I replayed MGR for the first time since 2022 and it's even more mid than I remember. Best I can say is that it's not the p-slop retards claim it to be (aside from the meme difficulty I guess) and that the aura & hype moments are still excellent to this day and I hope it carries over to NG 4. Still gonna play it some more and try to get more out of the game but I don't see how just yet. Now that I think about it the game felt like the lobotomized version of vanilla NG 2.

I have absolutely no idea why would anyone play Bayo for ranks. The already pigeonholing game gets even more so, and everyone just ends up bruteforcing the game with constant savescam retries.

"UT Spam" against alchemists is literally ineffectual, the level 1 charge is weak as is and in worst cases it spreads out the already mid damage across different targets, you take twice the damage while charging so getting past lvl 1 is not an option, and in the same timeframe it takes for level 1 UT to charge and play out you can do much more. Someone should post that shit webm of a retard taking 40 seconds to kill 1 alchemist doing nothing but Lunar UTs so I can post mine where I kill 5 in a minute using just one UT during the fight, all while barely having any prior experience with the weapon.
