I swear to you I was not racist when I got online (90s), I assumed everyone was smart, funny, and was enthusiastic about their interests. I made new friends everyday and was hopeful for the future. By about 2012 or so, my opinion flipped. The average person online was becoming a humorless, dull, angry retard who can't stop complaining.
