We've briefly met him and his group before and he seemed like a decent guy but we have it on Annie's authority that he's faked the death of Idalia, RM-1270-c, and may still be with her. He's the only other commander known to have worked with a subject so he's our best bet to bring on board as a second set of hands to help take down Feng and confidentially work with us going forward. We're only ten people ourselves so to have a second group (and maybe Idalia too) to coordinate with and trust would help so much.
