My ultimate realization with the MDE guys is that none of them, not even Nick (often cited as "the funny one"), graduated above "high school class clown" level. They're that goofy kid you knew in class that somehow managed to make his classmates laugh to get them to like him. The kid you imagined might grow up to be a comedian, but like just about every class clown, these guys never really did.
Even putting them in a standup routine situation, they behave exactly how you would expect your resident class clown to act. Sam unprofessionally relied on reading his jokes off paper for years even.
And that's the thing, these guys aren't professionals. Put them next to a professional comedian and well, you know how that looks.
Somehow they've managed to create this larp cult of completely faking it because their autistic dick riders can't tell the difference and notice that they stole all their jokes from imageboards. And then avoided being exposed as frauds, until now.
No wonder Sam considers Joe Rogan to be his saving grace, Joe is of the mindset that you can actually be a comedian if you just declare you are and hump a stool on a stage, and everyone will believe you. It's a delusion. And Sam thought he could trick Rogan the same ways Jews think they can trick God by swinging chickens around to transfer their sins or some shit.
