Industry products are people who are completely manufactured. Their image. The songs they sing. Their entire "brand" was thought up by a groups of ad guys, statisticians and market scientists. They literally sit around all day making profiles to match consumer interest like they're making characters in a video game. Then once they identify a "talent" who has likely been plopped out by a couple already in the industry, they match one of their profiles to that person. They then have a team assembled around them to start cultivating their image. They sit them down with song writers who already have an entire catalogue of unreleased stuff that has just needed the right person to sing it. They release a few singles to garnet interest then put out an entire album. Then the tour dates get booked and the merchandise starts rolling off the line
Its an industry, they pump these people out like products, because that's exactly what they are
