Thinking about the Roland FP-10 but I've heard of some issues, like it not supporting 3 pedals or continuous pedalling. Also heard rolands eventually get bad clicking keys. I just want something to learn piano basics on and jam out. I guess I could connect it to some better piano VST too.

I personally tried the fp10, Yamaha P145 and FP-30x at a music store. The FP10 has shitty speakers, but I guess I'd mostly be playing with headphones anyway (though not always). The FP-30x has a noticeably nicer sound, and the extra pedal support seems good down the line maybe? I read that continuous pedalling becomes useful relatively early on. The problem is that the 30x, along with a stand, chair for playing, dp10 pedal, etc, would be over 350 bucks more than an FP10 with all of those, and idk if that's exactly worth it with my limited budget. Alternatively, I've been checking secondhand sites to see if anyone's selling a 30x, but to no avail. As for the Yamaha p145, there was nothing wrong with it, but I preferred the less plastic-y feel of Roland keys.

I generally remember how a game made me feel, the ending, main goal, but even when it comes to games I loved playing and was invested in the plot, I just couldn't tell you what happened in the middle, or why a certain character did X or Y.
I played FF7, 10, Xenogears, etc a year ago and the details are already blurry. I can't repeat the story linearly start to finish.
There's worse offenders like Nier Automata where I just forgot like 90% of what happened, even if I enjoyed the game and its story while playing it like 3 years ago.

While playing, I repeat the story up to that point in my head, and that helps me remember, but in like half a year, details already become hazy
